I am honoured to be elected as Vice Chairman of the 83rd Term Board of Directors under the Chairmanship of Dato’ Seri Dr. Toh Soon Huat, JP, BBM, PVPA, and I am privileged to be appointed the Organising Committee Chairman for the Installation Ceremony today.
I wish to congratulate Dato’ Seri Dr Toh Soon Huat, JP, BBM, PVPA, on his appointment as a Justice of Peace in recognition of his distinguished community service in Singapore.
We are very grateful to our Guest of Honour Mr. Ng Chee Meng, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office for kindly consenting to officiate at the Installation Ceremony and our Special Guests Dr. Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Transport and Mr. Melvin Yong, MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC and Mr. Lee Hong Chuang BBM, Adviser to Hougang Grassroots Organisations for gracing the Installation.
My sincere appreciation to our sponsors and donors for their generous donations to support the Installation Ceremony tonight. Special thanks to our Honourable Chairmen, Honorary Directors, Honorary Chairmen, Charity, Benevolent and Youth Ambassadors for accepting their respective honorary appointments to serve in the 83rd Term Board. I am truly honoured to serve with them to contribute and participate in the fundraising campaign and programmes of Sian Chay.
I also honoured to be appointed to chair the Management Committee of the To’ Puan Dr. Tsao Sui Lan Memorial Endowment Fund. The first fundraising project, ‘Beauty With A Purpose‘ has been designated for the To’ Puan Dr. Tsao Sui Lan Memorial Endowment Fund which will be held on 2nd September 2018 with the support of 2018 Miss World Singapore!
