On the morning of 10th February, Ms. Chen Qi Yi, Director of DAYOU, visited Sian Chay Medical Institution at the recommendation of Pan Qingliang, the Chief Commercial Investment Adviser of YIDING, and welcomed by Chairman Toh Soon Huat.
During the visit, Chairman Toh introduced the core values, medical charges and TCM services of Sian Chay to the two benevolent individuals. He also introduced the history of Sian Chay.
Meanwhile, Mr. Toh also briefed them on the various types of activities to be held this year, such as: island-wide flower-gifting event on May 14 Mother’s Day, mega fund-raising dinner “Love from Sian Chay Love Charity Gala” on July 8 and so on. They were also very interested in these events.
“It is not just a Traditional Chinese Medicine organisation, it is also a charitable organization and a social enterprise. Social enterprises need public support, that is, everyone needs to give a little love, so that the society and the country will be more harmonious and beautiful,” said Mr. Toh.
“I am very fortunate to visit Sian Chay today,” said Ms. Chen, “I can feel that the Compassion, Universal Love, readiness to help and selfless Dedication from people in Sian Chay! At the same time, I am honored to meet the great philanthropist Mr. Toh Soon Huat. I am very touched by Sian Chay and I really felt the strength of charity and Mr. Toh’s dedication. As an entrepreneur, we must first care for families, care for the advancement of employees, be responsible for the interests of consumers, be concerned about environmental protection, and assist the social groups in need! We should bear a loving heart, deliver good behavior, regardless of return, regardless of the results!” Ms. Chen Qi Yi donated $20,000 to Sian Chay. She said, “Benevolent heart is for the purpose of helping those in need.” When realizing that $20,000 can help more than 2,000 elderly patients get free consultation and medication, Ms. Chen was excited.
