– Kowloon Club 2017 New Year Celebration Dinner in Singapore

The Gala event was well attended by all with great fanfare. Ushering the Year of Golden Rooster, the reunion celebration party commenced.

The Kowloon Club 2017 New Year Celebration Dinner was held on 26th February 2017 at 7pm at House of Joy, Hotel Royal, Newton Road . The event was officated by Ms. Sun Xueling, Member of Parliament of Pasir Ris- Punggol GRC, and Mr. Wang Jiarong, Counselor and Consul General of the PRC Embassy in Singapore was in attendance. The Organising Committee also invited Hong Kong TVB artiste Celine Ma to sing a few classic Cantonese songs. The party also arranged a special charity auction.

In the auction, the local painters Miss Zhang Ruili and Miss Wu Lanlan, donated an abstract painting (Love No. 28) for auction to support the charity activities of Kowloon Club. This painting was jointly bidded by President Mr. Philip Chan and Mr. He Zhihao for $10,000 which was donated to Sian Chay Medical Institution. This amount of donation can support 1000 needy patients for free TCM consultation and medication at Sian Chay .

Later, Ms. Zhang Ruili shared in the WeChat, said: ” I am very happy that my paintings can help the needy people. Thanks to my partner Ocean and President of Kowloon Club!. Thanks to Chairman of Sian Chay, Mr. Toh Soon Huat and thanks to the generous bidder. Thanks!”
