2019 Forbes Asia ’s Heroes of Philanthropy. Mr. Toh Soon Huat JP, Chairman of Sian Chay Medical Institution in Singapore, was included in the honour roll this year.
Mr. Toh Soon Huat JP said that being included in the list with philanthropists from all walks of life is an honour conferred on me by society. It is an encouragement, a support, a trust, a bright vision, and a long journey . It motivates me to continue my journey to do bigger things, serve the people and society. With this honour, there should be more inner meaning , more modesty , more enterprising, and work harder to help more people do more things, to be worthy of the honour .
