Chairman Toh Soon Huat shared: Sian Chay has participated in this activity every year since 2015. The purpose is to promote racial harmony and let everyone feel like one family regardless of race or religion. Gratitude to the compassionate Minister for her kindness and care for the residents, gratitude to the community leaders for their dedication, and enjoying a delicious dinner with the Malay residents. The picture of the gathering is very warmth, happy and enjoyable! ”
For a long time, under the leadership of Chairman Toh Soon Huat, Sian Chay Medical Institution has adhered to the five core values: “Forgiveness, Universal love, Compassion, Gratitude and Blessing” in support of nation building, to foster a harmonious society”. Actively advocates the belief that ” Nation Progresses, Family Prospers. Family Harmony, Successful Endeavours. Forward with the Nation, Bonding with the People”. We will support the welfare activities and actively participate in charitable activities organised by community organisations, civic groups and community centres. Give back to the society.
“We should not hesitate to donate because even if amount is small,” and $10 donation will benefit a sick person from a low-income family to visit the Sian Chay Medical Institution for free consultation and medicine. Helping a person is equivalent to helping a family. Because anyone in a big family is sick, the life and mood of the family will be greatly affected and impacted. Helping a family brings happiness and joy to all the people around him. We hope that by helping patients get relieve from suffering, relieve their pain, and foster happy and healthy families and a harmonious society. Let everyone feel bright vision because they live in this country.
Since its establishment, Sian Chay Medical Institution has actively participated in community charity activities, promoted health awareness, encouraged healthly lifestyle activities, and allowed more non-Chinese residents to understand Chinese culture; promoted exchanges, enhanced friendship, interacted with each other, and shared resources. Promote racial harmony and love the people. For example; Mother’s Day, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, invited senior citizens and residents to watch performances, distributed over 20,000 walking aid umbrellas to the elderly, and shared over 5,000 dumplings. Nearly 8,000 seniors and low income families were invited to attend concerts. We also hired part-time hairdressers and volunteers to cut hair for the elderly, and invited celebrities to conduct pro bono art classes for the community and other activities, distributed tote bags, and distributed over 10,000 daily essential packs to low-income families. Paying attention to the physical and mental health of senior citizens.
Together, we will contribute to the prosperity of Singapore. As a  Chinese medicine charity, Sian Chay has the obligation and responsibility to contribute to the development of this country. Only with racial harmony will the citizens be happier.
