Modern living is rapidly changing, there are more choices open to everyone. However, we tend to neglect our physical health though it is our daily living. It’s not surprising to see young people suffering from a variety of diseases. That’s why Sian Chay actively promotes wellness lifestyle through various activities it organised , encouraging everyone to take care of their own health while enjoying the materialistic living in this fast-paced era. Meanwhile, Sian Chay promotes its 5 core values, Forgiveness, Universal Love, Compassion, Gratitude and Blessing, and the idea of “To support nation building and the promote social harmony.” Sian Chay actively promotes the belief that “Nation Progresses, Family Prospers; Family Harmony, Successful Endeavours”, and that “Forward with the Nation, Bonding with the People”. A nation can only be strong and prosperous when it is rich in both resources and spirits.

20th September morning, Mr. Foo Jong Peng and his committee from Kheng Chiu Loke Tin Kee Home and Mr. Chen Haosong, the Director of the “Art Museum “, visited Sian Chay Medical Institution and received the donation from Sian Chay. Chairman Toh Soon Huat accompanied me throughout their whole visit.
During the visit, Chairman Toh introduced the core values, fee schedule and service operation of Sian Chay. Mr. Foo Jong Peng was full of praise for Sian Chay’s organisational culture and he mentioned that all should learn from the charity culture of Sian Chay as well as the advanced management experience to better serve the public.
Kheng Chiu Loke Tin Kee received the donation in kind ,including 1 water dispenser, 30 black chairs, 3 white tables, 13 folding chairs, 300 plastic flowers and 1,000 keychains.
Mr. Foo said that in October this year, his Association will host a banquet for thousands of seniors. These items will enhance warmth from Sian Chay to the banquet. Chairman Toh Soon Huat also donated his own publication, “Roads”, Sian Chay plastic flowers, and 1,000 Sian Chay keychains.
The Art Museum received 20 black chairs, 4 folding chairs, 1,000 plastic flowers. Mr. Chen Haosong, Director of Art Museum said, “I personally love arts and opened a museum to public for visits. I also do some volunteer work at leisure time. I heard about Mr. Toh earlier and was very impressed by his dedication to Sian Chay wholeheartedly. I followed Sian Chay on Facebook on their latest posts. Thanks for Sian Chay’s donations. I hope I can assist Sian Chay in the future.”

Kindness is a religion and a nature. Doing good deeds is an action and sincere devotion. Chairman Toh often says that young people should work hard to earn money and take every opportunity to do good deeds, which is more rewarding than fame and fortune. He actively promotes in all circumstances the culture values of Sian Chay, which are Forgiveness, Universal Love, Compassion, Gratitude and Blessing, integrates into daily conduct of Sian Chay staff. He often says, “A great country comprises every ordinary individual, as long as everyone gains from the society but also payback to the society. To care for the vulnerable groups, with effort or money. Wishing everyone working together to contribute to charity cause with one’s own efforts. Nation Progresses, Family Prospers; Family Harmony, Successful Endeavours. It’s Sian Chay’s belief that Forward with the Nation, Bonding with the People. This will make a better society .”
