Mr. Raymond Chua, Organizing Committee Co-Chairman, said in his address: “Love needs contribution. This is the essence of love. Love needs to convey the warmth; love needs to convey the spirit; and love needs to convey the connections between hearts. I wish the platform of Sian Chay will be known by more people, supervised by more people and become better!”
Sian Chay Medical Institution is a charitable organization that provides free TCM consultations for the community as well as the low cost medicine and treatment to the needy groups. Currently, Sian Chay runs 15 branches providing TCM services for more than 1,200 patients daily and supports 4 wellness centres serving over 10,000 residents in the constituencies yearly. It is forecasted that Sian Chay Medical Institution will serve 2.5 million patient visits and dispensed 4.8 million dosages of prescriptions in the next five years (2018-2022).
Although Sian Chay has 15 branches, the number of needy people is increasing day by day, and there is a shortage of resources at the moment. In order to sustain the 117-year-old Sian Chay Medical Institution, convey the loving spirits of Singaporeans and promote charity causes in Singapore, we would like to appeal to everyone to contribute a little of love to bring about light and warmth for those with difficulties. Sian Chay will manage every donation and assure they are utilized properly and giving hope to more people. In this case, you only need to donate $10 to benefit one patient from a low-income family to enjoy free consultation and medicine in Sian Chay. Please combine all the power of love and do good deeds with kindness to benefit more people.
Love can bring strength and kindness can bring hope. The universal love and dedication can convey more light and warmth to our fellow needy Singaporeans and relieve their pains and suffering of sickness. Helping one person equals helping one family. The good deeds are like bright moon and refreshing breeze, giving people warmth and happiness.
