Sian Chay has organised a group of volunteers to perform the free haircut service for 32 residents at this event; and Sian Chay has also distributed 250 tote bags as X’mas presents to all participants .

With an ageing population, more elderly patients are seeking medical attention. Sian Chay has set up 15 branches in the HDB heartlands to serve senior citizens who are less mobile and staying far away to seek timely consultation and treatment at their convenience. The 15 branches which are located islandwide now serve a daily average of 1,200 patient visits. Besides, Sian Chay supported four wellness centres serving about 10,000 residents with their healthy lifestyles and wellness programs.
Sian Chay Medical Institution hopes to render charitable and humanitarian work to the less-privileged group in our community regardless of race and religion .
