Sian Chay Distributed Chinese New Year Goddie Bags With Love And Care
The most touching thing is not the icing on the cake, but the timely help. The most beautiful smile is not the smile with tears but the sweetest smile. The sincerest blessing is not the first in the New Year, but the wish of happiness every day.
On 14th February, 2018, at Geylang Headquarters, Sian Chay Medical Institution distributed Chinese New Year goodie bags and hong baos to the patients who are waiver cares, sending the good wishes and blessing. Simplicity makes life more beautiful, greeting makes blessing more pleasant, and blessing makes the Chinese New Year happier.
9:30am at Geylang Headquarters, Director Mr Kenny Lim distributed New Year goodie bags and hong baos to 50 beneficiaries enjoying wavier. Mr. Lim had a cordial chat with the patients and encouraged them to fight against their illness. These patients were from low-income families, financially disadvantaged, elderly people living alone, or single person with mobility difficulties, or the spouse is a patient. Sian Chay also delivered goodie bags to those patients who were less mobile, hospitalized and other factors could not collect their goodie bags at the Geylang Headquarters. Currently there are 126 patients from branches throughout the island who were approved as beneficiaries in 2017.
Out of appreciation for Sian Chay’s continuous dedication in providing free TCM consultation and low cost treatment for the needy regardless race, religion or nationality, philanthropists Mr. Tan and Miss Joey, sponsored 50 goodie bags and 50 hong baos for those patients with financial difficulty. Special thanks to Mr. Tan for the 50 New Year goodie bags and thanks to Miss Joey for the 50 New Year hong baos. Thanks to both of them for caring for the disadvantaged in the society in the Chinese New Year. We would like to express our sincere greetings and blessing to them, to add warmth to the festival!
The elderly who came to collect the package said in an interview that Sian Chay Medical Institution is a medical institution with care and love. They appreciated the kindness and dedication of Sian Chay for bringing warmth and hope to them while treating their illness.
Stroke patient Mr Chen Si Tuan said: “I am so grateful to Sian Chay. I am glad to come here (Marsiling) for treatment. The physicians and staff are very nice. Thank you for your care, thank you Sian Chay. “
Stroke patient Mdm Luo Yue Xiu said: “Since I came to Sian Chay for acupuncture and tuina, I feel that Sian Chay is a very caring clinic, it brings me great hope. So I come for treatment 2 times a week and never stopped. I would like to thank those doctors who are full of love, and hope that more patients receive the treatment and help. Thank you very much.”
