Dr. Keak Lai Heng PBM, Vice Chairman of Sian Chay Medical Institution, and Executive Director of MTM Skincare Pte Ltd celebrated his 6oth birthday on 2nd April . As Vice Chairman of Sian Chay, Dr. Keak focused his attention on the needy people. Thus, at the birthday party, he said: “I hope everyone could contribute their efforts or money to help those in need . The hongbaos received tonight will be donated to Sian Chay, to help more people .”
Dr. Keak has always been very supportive of on community welfare. He was respected by the public as “benevolent man”, “warm hearted” for his generosity. He also constantly instilled the spirit of philanthropy to his children. He said, ”As our nation prospers over time, the standard of living of our people has also improved. Thus, they have more capability and resources to contribute to society. I have to let them know about Sian Chay, let them know that not everyone is like us. They need to learn to take up more social responsibility. It’s helpful for them to understand the difficulty of life through Sian Chay. They should understand, and support it.”
A total of $5,298 hongbao donation was received that night. Hereby, we appreciate Dr. Keah’s benevolence. His charity will not only bring cheer to a lot of people , but also bless his children with an immense spiritual wealth!
