Mdm. Chen Guanyin, mother of Ms. Chen Siqi, Managing Director of Lingzi Media, passed away on 25th February. To commemorate her noble virtue, Ms. Chen Siqi and her family
(Elder Brother Chen Chunhui and wife Liu Xiuhua, Elder Sister Chen Chunhua, Husband Lin Denan, Third Sister Chen Xu and her husband Liao Jianxiong, youngest Sister Chen Manrong and her husband Deng Zijian) decided to donate $10,000 condolence donation to Sian Chay Medical Institution to help more senior citizens and at the same time to bless her mother’s spirit in heaven.
On 13th March, Ms. Chen Siqi together with her elder brother Chen Chunhui, elder sister Chen Chunhua, third sister Chen Xu, and youngest sister Chen Manrong presented the donation cheque to Mr. Toh Soon Huat, Chairman of Sian Chay Medical Institution. Mr. Toh expressed his sincere appreciation for the kindness from the family.
The donation of $10,000 will be used to subsidize 1,000 elderly people to receive free TCM tuina services at Sian Chay Medical Institution, helping them alleviate the pain and obtain the happiness, and promote a blissful family. It is always good to give to charities and kindness knows no bounds.
Sian Chay Medical Institution has 15 branches and supported 4 wellness centres to provide free medical consultation, medicine subsidies, and tuina therapy for the public. It provides a full range of services and is dedicated to enabling elderly people from the constituencies to receive timely and convenient medical treatment, well-being, happiness and rejoices in their twilight years.
We often say that every mother influences a family, every family influences a community, every community influences a country and such a country will bring miracles to the world. Ms. Chen Guanyin was such a great mother and Ms. Chen Siqi and her siblings are just such filial sons and daughters. They use their virtuous deeds to convey the power of love. They use love to create more love.
We hereby give special thanks to Ms Chen Guanyin and her outstanding children for conveying the love and warmth to the world. With such noble virtue, Singapore and Sian Chay become better and better.
